The laboratory supervisor is the day-to-day lead for embryology and andrology work: egg identification after retrieval, insemination or ICSI, culture checks, biopsy if ordered, and cryostorage.
Approach
Patients rarely meet every embryologist. It is reasonable to ask who is on the bench for your retrieval and how the lab documents identity checks.
